Consent to Use of Digital Signatures
2.1. You hereby consent to the use of electronic or digital signatures in lieu of handwritten signatures for all agreements, authorizations, records, documents, or forms provided through the UpRate platform. Your digital signature has the same legal effect and enforceability as a physical signature.
Scope of Consent
3.1. This consent applies to all documents and transactions executed within or through the UpRate platform unless you withdraw consent as outlined below.
Withdrawal of Consent
4.1. You may withdraw your consent to use digital signatures at any time by contacting us at support@uprate.digital. However, such withdrawal will not affect the legality or enforceability of any digital signature applied prior to the withdrawal.
Access to Records
5.1. You may request a paper copy of any document you sign digitally on the UpRate platform by contacting us at support@uprate.digital. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for such services.
Hardware and Software Requirements
6.1. To access and retain digital records, you must have access to:
An internet connection;
A device capable of accessing the UpRate platform;
A valid email address;
A web browser with current security updates;
6.2. It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet these technical requirements.
Security and Authentication
7.1. UpRate uses commercially reasonable measures to ensure the security, authenticity, and integrity of your digital signature. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all actions taken using your account.
Legal Compliance
8.1. You acknowledge that your use of a digital signature complies with all applicable laws and regulations. Digital signatures used on the UpRate platform are intended to comply with relevant electronic signature legislation, including the ESIGN Act (U.S.) or eIDAS Regulation (EU), as applicable.
